Rated 3 out of 5 by float2tuber from kicker keeper I purchased the subject kicker keepers and found them relatively effective on my recent 2-week camping/fish. One problem I was very uncomfortable with was that strap retaining buckle doesn't have enough "bite" to keep the strap taunt. After about 5-hours of fishing and returning shore found the retaining strap was stilled secured to the buckle but, was very loose to the point that I could put my whole hand between my wader and the strap; which caused me concern when entering/exiting mucky areas where there's of one my kickers can be pulled-off. I suggest you bring this problem to the manufacturer and tell them they need a higher sitting and greater number of teeth on that fixture to hold the smooth braided strapping that secures the keeper. A pair of keepers I bought from you all years ago were very secure on my old pair of kickers. The old keepers' retaining buckle sat higher and are more sharp that provided a better bite on the strapping All though I didn't loose any kickers on this recent fishing trip; I was not totally comfortable w/ these recently purchased keepers. Rated 5 out of 5 by fishingal from If you want to keep both fins, get them! How many times have you seen somebody walk into a shop asking if they can buy just *one* fin? I have the expensive Force Fins that do cost a lot more than cheapos, and the first thing I bought for them was a pair of Kicker Keepers. i still have those fins now six years later and am still enjoying my original set. Several years of trips in multiple locations, and I haven't even come close to losing a fin yet. Speaks for itself. Save yourself some frustration and some dough: GET THEM!
