My favorite for high mountain trout.I have used Jakes for many years. It was always a consistent lure when I was a young scout, and still as reliable today.
On a white with red spot 1/4 oz. I caught 32 tiger trout in a high Uinta lake in Utah in under two hours. Between my brother and I we caught over sixty fish that day.
Awesome products.

Love 'EmWhat can I say, these things catch fish. The best part about these lures is their versatility. I use them for trout, bass, even walleye. I've had success with them in rivers and lakes. In my experience they don't work as well in small streams, but then again, what spinner does. The only downside to these is they are a little pricey for a spinner. That being said, I believe they are worth the money.

Amazing trout lureTook this on fishing trip in the bighorns. Tied it on and threw it out there and hooked up with a nice rainbow. The best way that I found to fish this lure is cast it downstream and a medium retrieve.

Reliable purchaseStarted to use this lure in 2012 when I saw a kid catching trout when the rest of us were not in late morning. I asked him what kind of lure he was using and he said it's a Jake lure they use a lot out west. I went to Bass Pro and the customer service people were very helpful to find this lure for me and the next fishing trip I used this first thing. Caught 3 trout within 20 min, thats pretty good considering Penna. Since then I have caught trout, bass, they love it, and pickerell. Gold w/ red dots and silver and white lures work quite well. They are a good investment in your box.
Hi we are planning to come to Yellowstone at Cook City Mt and fish Beartooth Lake, can you tell me what kind of tackle we will best need using rods? Any info tips will be great as we are use to fishing Mn lakes and fished here one day last yr.
