BewareWorst red wing boot I ever owned. After research I found it why, they are made in China. Expensive disposable boots good for maybe one hunt.

Don’t wast your moneyI bought this boot and took them on a hike to brake them in and returned them them the next day. If you’re hiking in rough terrain on rocks you’ll feel every rock right to the soul they have no real sole protection or ankle support. I’ve had good luck with Irish setter boots in the past but this boot just doesn’t cut the mustard for serious rough country hunting. Bass pro has an excellent return policy and I took them back and bought a pair of their high-end hunting boots that were made in Europe ...I love them!!!

Love Redwing/Irish Setter but not a fan!Bought boots 2016 .... I am a Redwing fan with their leather boots!
Hiking when dry 5 star. First year didn't leak, but the second year hiking when wet/rain - leaked. Not great traction when wet eighter.
Redwing/Irish Setter made the boot very light and backed by the name I felt a sure thing. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

both boots leak after 20 hoursI bought these at the Mesa AZ Bass pro shop 18 months ago but have only worn them a few times and each time they got wet I dried them on a boot dryer. Literally less than 20 hours of wear, you can tell by looking at them they are not even starting to break in, they still look brand new. today I put them on and went across a 3 inch deep stream and instantly could feel the water on both of my feet. when I got home and took them off the front of both sock were socked. A boot this expensive that does not even last long enough to get broken in, both sides!!! IF I could give them a negative star I would. This company should be ashamed. What a ripoff.

DisappointingI bought a pair of these over two years ago. They are stiff as a board. Hard to pull on and of. Never did break in. The.final straw was two weeks ago came out of the woods walking through some wet grass, upon removing them, bottom of both socks were wet. Put them in about 3” of water in laundry tub to verify leaks. Sure enough, they leaked. Returned them for evaluation, hoping to get a refund. Only good thing, they look good and are super light

Excellent BootsI bought there boots for mountain hunting in the high and low deserts and there are near perfect. They hold up great; there are tough; and they provide plenty of ankle support. Also, they fit well to your foot, providing less chance for blisters. The problem I've run into is that they get kind of hot for uninsulated boots, but other than that they work great! Totally recommend!

I came back for more!I don't understand all the bad reviews because these are honestly the best hunting boots I have ever owned. I'm old school and always bought the standard issue all-leather Red Wing hunting boots, largely because I could have them re-soled (which I have done), but they are old technology. This year I broke down and bought these new boots for comfort, and have spent many dozens of hours in them chasing bird dogs (not just sitting in a tree stand). I wore them in the house to break them in (which they really didn't need), and then went hunting. They are comfortable and durable. I have also slipped around beaver ponds and through shallow streams in them, and they are waterproof.
I came back to buy another pair in a solid color to wear with jeans and a decent shirt when I go out on rainy evenings. I think that being a repeat customer says it all.
