Most slippery boot ever. Not for winterCold temperatures harden the soles so much that they become dangerously slippery even on dry surfaces. Ice and snow will stick to the soles too and they will stay slippery after going back indoors. Before winter these were my favorite boot. . .

Made it up 16 mountainsI bought these as my hiking/everyday boots they have proven themselves through the test of time and excessive use I used them for training hikes for big mountaineering trips then I took them to the summer camp I worked at in the flint hills in Kansas then to climb 2 mountains in Colorado spanning over 30 miles (parentheses will be mountain counter) (2) then took them to philmont Scout ranch which is 12 days of hiking up mountains and to camps where I climbed 12 mountains (14) spanning over 100 miles then used them everyday to the next summer with where I went back to frequent training hikes to go back to Colorado where I climed 2 fourteeners including mount Elbert which I did twice (16) and have continued to use them everyday which they show their wear such as the black bits on the sides have ripped out and there’s foam showing through the rubber quite a bit but until they either become uncomfortable or are nothing but foam I’m gonna keep wearing them props on the boots

I would def buy another pair again but they wont break down!!I do misc construction jobs from time to time but own a landscape company - I cut lawns all day long. I am on my feet for 8 hours a day on uneven terrain going from wet to dry constantly. These boots have been a dream. They are super comfy, and the tread is great for grip when I am walking up a hill behind the mower. Dunno if i can say anything bad about em to be honest. This is my second season cutting with them and even the laces are showing no signs of wear. I think i might buy another pair before the model changes LOL but i dont know if i'll ever need them... Great job on these boots!!!!

Good boot, great fitThis is my 2nd pair of this style of boot. The 1st pair I bought was a little more comfortable and not quite as stiff in the sole as these. I'm sure over time they will break in just fine, these seem to be more of a heavy leather boot break in

Amazingly comfortable!I use these boots to work on trails mostly as well as when doing renos or construction at home. These are super comfortable for hiking all day in rough terrain. Nevermind that they are approved safety boots, these are some of the most comfortable boots of any type I've ever owned. The lightweight toes are so much better than hiking around the bush in steel toes.
