Hornady® Superformance® 7mm Remington Magnum 139 Grain SST™ Centerfire Rifle Ammo is engineered to increase velocity by as much as 200 fps, without increasing pressure or recoil. The added velocity flattens trajectory and increases foot pounds of energy, which in turn increase your odds of clean kills at extended ranges. This Superformance ammunition is loaded with the Hornady SST (Super Shock Tip) bullet, utilizing a polymer tip, secant ogive, and a boattail base to maximize ballistic coefficients for flatter trajectories and minimal wind drift. Upon impact, the polymer tip pushes back into the lead core to initiate rapid expansion, even at long range. Hornady's Interlock® Ring locks the tapered copper jacket to the lead core, preventing jacket/core separation for enhanced weight retention and deep penetration. Each bullet is cannelured and securely crimped for reliable performance. Hornady Superformance SST Centerfire Rifle Ammo develops pressures safely within SAAMI guidelines, and is compatible with gas operated, semi-auto firearms with 20" barrels or longer, or with shorter-barreled semi-autos using adjustable gas systems.
