Description

Eliminate bullet wobble with the Lock-N-Load ammunition concentricity tool from Hornady®. The concentricity tool identifies and eliminates bullet runout quickly and easily. You simply place your ammunition in the tool, roll it, identify runout, and use the dial indicator to adjust runout to zero! Great for maintenance on factory ammunition as well. Weight: 3.65 lbs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by John Wick 3 from Doesn't do much I've used it on a reload of a .308 round using Lapua brass and Hornady 208gr ELD-M bullet. Sometimes they are not near perfect and when your reloading many rounds and having to turn that little screw tight in to get the bullet to shift it starts eating into your fingers which get to be raw after a little bit of time. Should have been engineered with a lot larger turn in screw for the hand and not the finger.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Claymation from Good (Almost Great) Product Pros: Easy set up, easy use, allows for correction of bullet seating that is non concentric. You can use it without the need of a shell holder & on a wide range of cartridges. Cons: The instructions were less than spectacular but common sense will get you through the bulk of encountered issues. I would have given it 5 stars if the product made it easier to measure concentricity of the shell casing before seating the bullet. I would recommend this product to others depending on your application. It suits my needs just fine and I can get concentricity down to 0.001"......

Rated 4 out of 5 by OLMAC from damaged nylon tip I have used this tool for a few years. Corrects bullet run out fine.However the nylon tip on the thumb screw disappeared and damaged several bullets before the problem was found.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GuppyPhish from Great when it is straight. I use the Hornady seating die and most of the rounds come out with 0.002 or less on average. When I do get a round that comes out at 0.006 out of round the Concentricity tool allows for me to make that round to be in tolerance, or at times even better. It was a good investment for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by rockrock from concentricity Good device for checking concentricity. Easy to set up and use. Only fault w/ the device was the plastic tip came off the little adjusting screw and couldn't be glued back on. Will contact Hornady about a replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lsmountainman from For further accuracy Is this item a must? Probably not unless you're a benchrest shooter competing every weekend. However, if you prefer precision and like to dial your handloads in as much as possible, then this is a great product. I use it on every rifle round I reload to test my dies, my method, my accuracy and the concentricity of each loaded round. I am amazed at how much difference can exist from one round to the next. Again, is it a must? Probably not, but why not make every round as close to the same as the next? It's pretty easy to use and solidly made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DusToDeath from Best available concentricity tool This Hornady concentricity tool is simply the best available tool for measuring concentricity AND making adjustments. The measurement variables exhibited by the user are easily eliminated by the design of how the case is held. Other roller style designs are a little more touchy. The tool is also versatile- a case neck thickness gauge can be added and the tool comes with accessories to accommodate different bullet designs and calibers.
