HEVI-Shot HEVI-13 Turkey Loads
HEVI-Shot® Hevi-13® Turkey Loads feature lighter density pellets, more consistent gunpowder, and superior buffering for the tightest pattern possible and the most knockdown power. Water-resistant crimp; velocity: 1090 feet per second.

Great turkey loadI have had good hunting success with Magnum Blends and Hevi-13 6 shot. They both give nice 50 yard patterns, with the 6 shot doing slightly better in my Mossberg 835. I picked up a couple boxes of 7 shot to see how they would pattern. The 7 shot gave me the best 50 yard Hevi Shot turkey load pattern of them all. I can't wait to try them out in the turkey woods.

Knocks Them Down. I use a 20g youth shotgun with a 21" barrel equipped with a 'Heavy Metal Full Turkey' choke and a scope mounted on the rib and all turkeys were dropped on the spot. I usually keep shots at 50 yds or less and recommend that range but these have proven fatal to Toms out to 70yds. The closer the better. These rounds will give you the confidence to take turkeys further than usual. Make sure to pattern your shot gun before hunting.

These are OK but ...Not sure there is an appreciable performance difference between these and Remington Nitro Turkey loads and Winchester Super X Turkey loads, just costs a lot more.

2 TOMS DOWNMy son and I doubled on big Toms both at 50 yds great pattern incredible knock down. Huntting California public land birds is tough they hardly ever get much closer then 40 yds

Most Excellent Turkey RoundReally the best shotgun round out there for Turkey hunting! Very pleased with the pattern and shot my limit this year with no issues using Hevi-Shot Hevi-13 number 6. I consider this without a doubt the best Turkey hunting shell out there!

works great with the hevi 13 choke tubeI use this in the 3.5" number 6 in 2 1/4 oz load thru a benelli super black eagle that has had the forcing cone lengthened with the hevi 13 choke tube and I can kill a turkey out to 50 yds. great product
