The Henry® Lever-Action Shotgun is a fast handling .410 shotgun that's perfect for hunting small game or controlling pests around home or farm. The 19.75" smooth-bore barrel features a fixed, cylinder-bore choke that's well-suited for shooting a wide range of loads, including buckshot and slugs. The shotgun utilizes a brass-bead front sight and a standard, adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight; and the solid steel receiver is drilled and tapped for attaching a scope base. The receiver has side ejection, and no loading port as ammunition is loaded directly into the tubular magazine from the top. Henry utilizes an internal transfer bar safety that prevents hammer contact with the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. The shotgun cannot fire from being dropped onto the hammer, nor will it accidently fire if the shooter's thumb slips from the hammer while cocking. (There is no manual cross-bolt safety or traditional half-cock notch for a safety.) The Henry Lever-Action Shotgun has a checkered American walnut stock, a steel-capped forend, and a ventilated, rubber recoil pad. The barrel and receiver are matte blue. Sling swivel studs allow the attachment of a sling for ease of carry. Made in USA.
