Does Not Work With All Slings.Although the GrovTec Sling Swivels are quality sling swivels, I gave it four stars; due to the fact that they do not work with Turner's National Match Leather Slings. The frogs on the Turner's National Match Leather Sling will not fit through the sling loop of the GrovTec Sling Swivels. They might work with other brands of leather slings, but I do not know?

Excellent Locking Swivels 1 1/4" BlackThe GROVETEC swivels are excellent, incorporating a metal barrel (rollers) NOT 'plastic' as most of the foreign swivels use. Many foreign swivels are painted, not blued. GROVETEC provides good bluing, while mechanism is secure, and tight. Placed on a Model 70, no problem.
* I initially purchased the 1" to use on a Triple K Basket Weave Sling (Purchased at Cabelas) . However, the 1" would not fit, whereby the information stated for the Triple K that a 1" swivel was compatible. Unless one is using paracord, we would strongly advise to purchase the 1 1/4" for 'all' leather slings. Cabelas rectified the problem quickly in sending me the appropriate GROVETEC 1 1/4" swivel. There are two (2) top swivels: 1.) GROVETEC and 2.) Blackhawk: Take your pick. Thank you very much Cabelas, especially for expedited shipping. Merry Christmas.

1958 Marlin 336RC Barrel Band/SwivelsIt was time for a much needed BC TruOil finish upgrade to my 1958 Marlin 336RC. Part of this project was a reliable solution for slinged carry. After some internet research and other positive GrovTec reviews I went with the Magnum Band 1" .630-.675" Tube Diameter (GTSW-43). Great choice! Nice finish, quality fit, and a solid, easy install. I did put one layer of electrical tape on the inside surfaces. Just my OCD. Great product.
