Trouble keeping in placeI like the concept of this product but I have limited use for it now. I took it turkey hunting and waterfowl hunting. Both times I had the mount cranked down extremely tight (i have a tool for tightening gopro screws). The shot with the turkey load jolted the mount out of place, but just slightly. One shot, no problem. Waterfowl hunting was a different story. Taking multiple shots made the mount slide both side to side (swing around the barrel) and down the barrel (toward the muzzle). I had to keep readjusting its position. None of my footage was framed the same.
I should mention that both guns had camo pattern and sometimes it can be slick. I'll try it on a matte finish barrel to test the results. I will continue to use it for turkey and other single shot hunting, but will stick with headstrap mount for waterfowl, clay birds and other high frequency shooting.
So would I recommend? Single shot, yes (and potentially archery and fishing - though i never tested these). Multiple shots, nope. Its pretty overpriced for what its usable for. Especially since the previous model (sportsman mount) is half the price!
