bad purchase everjust got these gloves this fall didn't hunt the full season ,as I had health problems hunted about 50 days and these gloves are starting to fall apart neoprene is already torn ,I expected them to last for a few years very disappointed in them

Glacier GlovesIn 2003, I bought two pairs of Alaska River fingerless gloves. I used one pair for my outdoor activities, hiking, going to the range etc; and the other pair to to be worn in the house. I have serious arthritis and bursitis in my hands at night. I used one pair solely for keeping my hands warm and supported while sleeping. This year I needed to replace one of the ORIGINAL pair I bought back in 2003, over 13 years ago ! I located Alaska River on line and was happy to see that the style was still being made. The online catalog advised that I could purchase these through Bass Pro Shop and I did so, ordering an XL size of the Glacier Glove by Alaska River. They arrived promptly and I have been VERY happy with the quality still invested in this product, remember... I wear these year round and they are built to last !!

Great GlovesThese gloves are wonderful for fishing those cold times. Your fingertips will obviously get cold after a while, but the rest of your hands will stay warm. This will keep your fingertips warmer longer giving you a more enjoyable fishing experience on those cold days. I now have two pairs and love them both.

Are these waterproof?

The palms are, but the fleece backs are not. I have fished these in the rain and have been very pleased with the results.
