Garmin Xero A1i Auto-ranging Digital Bow Sight
Take the guesswork out of targeting game during bow season this year with the Garmin Xero™ A1 Auto-ranging Digital Bow Sight. An LED sight with built-in rangefinding capability, the Xero A1 sets the pin for an angle-compensated distance to your target up to 100 yards away (300 for reflective targets). In addition to eliminating the estimating needed for angled shots and in-between distances, this system also lets you see your target, unobstructed by the physical pins found on a traditional bow sight. Operated by a single button, this sight lets hunters range the target at rest or a full draw silently. Versatile design lets hunters choose red or green LED pin color and preferred pin setup, offering single pin, multiple pins, or manual pin selection. These LED pins automatically adjust brightness to conditions, ensuring a clear pin in any hunting condition. The Xero A1i also allows you to save pin settings for various bow configurations for instant readiness in different shooting or hunting situations. This sight also saves data from shots, such as bow level at release, bow impulse duration, and more, to help you improve your shooting performance. This advanced design also works with Garmin's Laser Locate™ feature on compatible Garmin GPS devices (not included) to know exactly where the target was when the shot or range was taken. Uses 2 AAA lithium batteries (not included). Pin size: Red: .007" and above, Green: .009" and above. Anti-reflective and water resistant coatings on lens. IPX7 water resistance rating. Available in right- or left-hand configuration. Wt: 14.7 oz. Sight includes: mount, screws, protective carry bag, grip tape, microUSB cable, and manual.

A really great sight! This is a great sight. I admit it took a bit to get set up and I watched the you tube videos. Aligning the range finder and your reticle is VERY important. Once dialed in this sight is superb, see your animal, range him and the pin appears. All the guesswork yardage is a thing of the past. I have taken a number of animals with this sight and it has worked flawlessly. I also like that you can set up a set of standard range pins. I like this if an animal is walking towards or away for me. By the way... used it in rain and snow, it still worked great! no clouding of the reticle. Take care setting it up and you will love it!

Not impressedI couldn't be less impressed with the set up for this device. It also freezes up often and you need to pull the batteries out to re-set it. When you factor the cost, difficulty to set up and the unreliability when the screen freezes, I don't recommend this product.

A1iI have had the site for couple weeks. It was a bear to set up at first, but im not the best with electronic set up either. Once i had it set up originally i had an issue shooting really far left and the problem was i was shooting with both eyes open at first when i was ranging and my non dominant eye was picking up the pin. You can shoot it with both eyes open, but what worked best for me was closing my left eye while centering the pins and when ranging targets. After i did that it drives tacks out to 76 yards(i ran out of space on the site after that range). I recommend the youtube videos on set up, they were easier then the directions in the manual.

Great productI have been bow hunting for 25 years and this is one of the best sight I have ever shot and I have tried many over the years. It takes a little time to set up but there are written instructions and videos on Garmins web site. This sight takes all the guess work out of distance to target and which pin to shoot. Just aim-push a button-shoot! Before you purchase, make sure this product is legal to use for hunting in your state; as far a I know, not hunting legal in Florida, Montana, Idaho. I have shot over 200 arrows with accuracy from 20 yrds to 60 yrds so far.

Does the battery life decrease more rapidly in cold weather?
Asked by: Rich S
In cold weather the chemicals can not react as fast as in warm. In fact keeping a battery cold will extend the life of the battery, by slowing the chemical discharge. ... In cold weather/season, the temperature is bit low. So the internal entropy(movement of molecules) is low.
