Can you show me a picture of the actual size of the number 8 eye
Asked by: Jo Jo 4567
Per the Manufacturer - "I am at a loss as to the best way to show the actual size of the guide. A picture may change sizes many times based on screen resolution and the app it is displayed in. I don’t think that is a solution. The best way to get an idea of guide size is to know how they are measured. The size is based on the outside diameter of the ring, so a size 8 is 8mm in diameter measured to the outside of the ring (not the inside). "

How do you attach the Guides?
Special Glue? Wrapped thread? Do you cover it with clear epoxy when you are done?
Asked by: CowboyJoe
Thank you for your inquiry:
Per the manufacture:
The guides are attached by wrapping thread around the feet. Once the thread has been wrapped and burnished (packed tightly generally with a special tool but he can use the end of a pen and gently push the thread close together) then he must use Rod Finish over the top of the guide wraps. During this stage he is going to want to have a dryer motor so that the rod will turn constantly for several hours while the finish hardens enough that it will not drip while the finish dries completely.
