Franchi Affinity Elite Semi-Auto Shotgun
The Franchi® Affinity® Elite Semi-Auto Shotguns use an Inertia Driven® operating system to cycle 2-3/4" to 3-1/2" shells flawlessly and without adjustments. The composite buttstock and forend are dipped in GORE® OPTIFADE® Concealment Waterfowl camo. The barrel and receiver feature a corrosive-resistant and nonreflective burnt bronze CeraKote® finish. The barrel has a rib vent and a TRUGLO® dual-color, fiber-optic bar front sight. A TSA recoil pad dramatically reduces felt recoil and muzzle flip. The buttstock adjusts for drop and cast. A widened loading port, large Sure Cycle bolt release, and an oversized bolt handle enhance reliable operation with cold hands. A drilled and tapped receiver allows you to attach aftermarket rails and bases. The Franchi Affinity Elite Semi-Auto Shotguns come with 3 extended waterfowl chokes (F, M, IC).

Fit me well swings niceGun fits well and looks great. The fit and finish is good and despite what some say internally it is the same as Benelli M2. The bolt and all parts are the same. This does not include the inertia spring which is in the butt on the M2 vrs around the mag tube in the Franchi. The recoil is firmer than a gas gun but did not hurt me after 2 rounds of trap.

Elite is worth the extra- has the Benelli PinchGot the Elite burnt bronze in a 20G and the extras are worth the money. I really like the CeraKote and Optifade. The extended waterfowl chokes and oversized release and handle are nice too and worth the extra cost. The site is cool but honestly I don’t look at that when shooting. I did notice the rib is higher, which I ended up liking, as well as the gun’s balance. Did GREAT with it on my first time at the range and am looking forward to hunting with it, I will be hunting pheasants over a dog.
Dislikes: Owner’s manual has some huge mistakes, like how to assemble it, but it was written in 2013. BIGGEST ISSUE is it has the Benelli Pinch- big time, which I read about and was told not worry about. I will probably never ever buy another Benelli/Franchi because of it, but boy do I like the way this gun shoots and feels. I just can’t see loading it more than a few times at the range. I put a glove on and that helped but come on, this is an expensive gun that just is no fun to load a 2nd round in the magazine. My range buddy had an even bigger problem with his thumb and stopped using it after the first box. So great gun that hurts to load a round in the magazine. From what I understand that is the Benelli badge of honor.
