These are devastating on raccoons at moderate ranges and still don't affect my shoulder as do full power buckshot loads

Great product highly recommend this stuffOut of my Remington 870 28" barrel with a extra full Kicks buck kicker out to about 55 yards it'll knock out a coyote or a deer

Nice patterns!!I pattern power shok buckshots (00 & 000 at 40m and 35m different times) with my Benelli montefeltro (Full choke -66cm barrel) and with my Baikal MP153 (S.Magnum - Full choke-71cm barrel) and the patterns was tight!

Tight pattern!I pattern my benelli montefeltro (full choke) at 35m and the pattern was tight with federal power shok 00 buck (9pellets) and with 000buck (8pellets)!

Drops deer easilyI bought these shells as well as a few others to try something different. Out of 4 types of buck shot these were the best. I was dropping deer so easily that other guys in my club were jealous. This all I will be taking with me in my stand, blind or out with the club.

Typical 00 buckshot has 9 pellets in a 2.75" shell correct? How many will be in the 3 inch shell?

Flight Control or Pattern Spread Rifled Barrel
Hello All,
On the spec info, it says it has some sort of triple wad system AND that it is a good choice for Rifled Barrels or Rifled Choke tubes. Has anyone run these thru a rifled barrel. I would like to send them down range out of my 870 23" rifled slug barrel, when and if I encounter a coyote. I know typical buckshot will spin out of control even at short distances. Looking for something at 30-50yd range that could provide a succesful take down.

I have not used in a rifled barrel but from my hunting in the past i would use slugs at that range since you have a rifled slug barrel

how is the 3 inch's velocity slower than the 2.75

Heavier payload. Some are as high velocity as the 2 3/4 shell with a LOT more recoil involved.
