The selective trigger has a clean 4-lb. pull and operates on a reliable inertia system, plus the use of interceptor sears add safety. Forend is attached with a classic Anson-style latch and includes a hardened steel insert where it meets the barrel lug, enhancing durability and allowing technicians to tighten the action if it's needed.
