Rated 1 out of 5 by xavier1 from Useless - Save your money and don't buy this. Bought these under the impression they would actually suppress some noise from my Excalibur Ibex. They are essentially useless and do absolutely nothing to reduce the noise or vibration as far as I can tell. Bow is still ridiculously loud. It didn't even change the tone. Next I'm going to try adding rubber bands to the string and after that probably the Bowjax 1030 Solid Limb Crossbow Kit as these seem to be the only real solutions to crossbow noise and vibration. Also a good quality flemish string should help with noise and vibes.

I had a STS aftermarket string stopper installed on it after excalibur came out with their version I figured if it was produced by excalibur it must be a great product. So I removed my old STS and installed the S5. All I can say is WOW.. The sound level of my bow is much improved. It is now just a dull thud. Crossbows will never be silent but this is about as close as it gets. Once again Excalibur has amazed me with their Quality.. Highly recommend. You will NOT be disappointed.....
