Rated 1 out of 5 by JDB45 from Absolute Garbage I only gave this product 1 star, because it was required and zero stars was not an option. First, when installing batteries into the battery pack, they barely fit, then the lantern would not work. Then when I tried to remove the batteries, it was almost impossible without destroying the battery pack. The quality of this product is something I would expect from the free prize in a box of cracker jacks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by NicolousName from Don't waste your money Pros: Absolutely nothing. Cons: Where to start... Dimmer dial should read "dial that makes lantern light flicker uncontrollably". Bottom battery cover is too hard to remove and reinstall. Batteries fit in so tight that you need a knife of screwdriver to pop them out. So tight that part of the plastic battery box broke by just popping a D cell. Normally I would return a piece a garbage such as this but got more satisfaction by feeling the cheap plastic crush under the weight of my foot after it literally fell apart while carrying it.. Bass Pro Shop remove this piece a garbage from your shelves!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Campin from Poor product All 3 lanterns did not work. Very difficult to unscrew the bottom and extremely difficult inserting and removing batteries. I put them back in the mail the next day for my refund.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SomeGuyWithInternet from battery LED lantern Having worked with LED lights in the past, I was expecting this to be a bit brighter or that the range with the gradient dial to greater. As it is, it does provide light that can be adjusted as advertised. It is compact and has a thin protective plastic where glass would normally be in a traditional lantern. The LED lights are not replace-able and the unit will have to be tossed instead of repaired or maintained in the future. I think that it serves it's purpose well though and it works as engineered.
