New tent in 25 yearsHaven't bought a tent in a long time. After much research and trying to figure out what would work for us I decided on this one. Took it out camping in October and is fairly easy to put up. It takes two to keep poles in the tabs and bend into the dome shape. Worked well for us and had no issues so far.
How is it in a heavy rain with a semi strong wind? Does it leak and do I need to do any treating with steam sealer and waterproofing/repellant spray?

While not designed for extreme weather situations, this is a great tent for a weekend campout and the supportive guidelines help with stability in high winds. The seams on the rainfly are taped for additional waterproof protection. Great question!
