Not strongUsed these at the Outer Banks 1 wk ago and on two occasions on 40lb braid and hooked a couple fish that I fought for a short period and then nothing. Reeled in to find the hook was straight.

They Are Ok, But Not SeriouseI've recently tried out these circle hooks for fishing channel cats out of the river here in Pennsylvania. I bought a pack of the 6/0 and gave them a try. They seemed like a decent hook. When I hooked up on a fish the first time, the end with the barbs snapped off during the fight....My second encounter wasn't much better, half way through the fight, they hook split in two about 1/2 inch below the eye... These aren't bad hooks for the weekend cat fisher that goes to man made lakes, but when push comes to shove in river cat fishing, these hooks just don't cut it.

Ultra Sharp HooksThese are my absolute favorite hooks to use for any kind of saltwater fishing. They are so sharp that you don't even have to set the hook and the fish is on.

good buy & they workI have used these circle hooks for 2-3 years when fishing for catfish. The hooks may be a bit hard to remove because of their shape, but their ability to hook and hold far offset a little extra tugging with pliers to remove the hook.

Great HooksI use these hooks for snapper, snook, and mackeral. Easy to set the hook and they dont bend or break. I even caught a tarpon with the 2/0 hook and it didn't bend

Great for sharksI pretty much only use these for sharks whenever i go saltwater fishing. Ive never missed a hookset yet with it.
