A Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's Exclusive!
100% waterproof hunting boots built to be the the most wearable protection you can find, Dryshod® Insight XT TrueTimber® Waterproof Hunting Boots for Men keep feet dry, warm, and protected through the harshest hunting weather. Packed with superior weatherproof technologies, Dryshod has designed the Insight XT Rubber Hunting Boots to give hunters "beyond waterproof" protection from top to bottom. Made of the same super-dense neoprene found in deep-water dry suits, the Insight XT's highly flexible, 4-way-stretch, 5mm Densoprene® bootie delivers lightweight, comfortable, and self-insulating, 100% waterproof protection that shields feet from the cold and wet. A nano-scale hydrophobic coating that repels water and mud on contact, Hydrocote® water repellent coating ensures water rolls off the booties so it can't soak in or freeze up on the outside of the boot. Genuine hand-laid rubber overlays over most of the boot stay flexible for years, avoiding the cold cracking you can get over time with PVC or urethane boots. Double-reinforced overlays over the toes and triple-reinforced heel overlays boost the protection even more. Inside, breathable 2mm Airmesh linings feature a vertical fiber middle layer that pushes air around your feet on every step to allow your skin to breath and keep the boot dry and humidity-free. Under the feet, reinforced tuck boards and nylon shanks boost stability over uneven terrain, while the Cold Blocker EVA midsoles absorb impact and provide a layer of insulation between the feet and cold ground. High traction molded rubber outsoles. Sturdy pull tabs and generous heel kicks. Imported. Manufacturer style #: BPC-MH-KNT.

Good bootTime for a new pair of boots this year. After a couple bad experiences with my usual brand, figured I’d give these a try after a recommendation on the brand. Looked at these and the Neosho Gusset. Ended going with the Insights due to the price and the design. I like the taller rubber upper. I have hunted several times with these in different temps. They have performed well so far. They are holding their color well. They are sturdy when moving through the woods, offering good support. They grip well in loose dirt or mud, better than expected with the sole design. Fairly warm for an uninsulated boot. Biggest issue is they are somewhat narrow for a rubber boot. Most have a generous amount of room in the foot area. These are very true to size and width. I cannot run a heavy or thick sock in these. It will make the boot very tight around my foot with anything over a medium thickness sock. The other issue is the sole does not release dirt well. It’s not a very aggressive sole, so the voids fill up quickly and hold dirt. This is a problem when you’re in a stand as the dirt wants to drop as you move your feet, making noise below you. These two issues are the reasons I gave four stars.

Avoid At All Cost!I bought these boots hoping the price tag would reflect the quality. That is not the case. These leaked right above the heel on my 3rd trip out walking through ankle deep water to the deer stand. They are not very warm. Another HUGE issue that they dont fit tight against your calf, no draw cord to suck them tight. When you walk in deeper snow your boots will kick snow up inside the boot and your feet become soaked. The color also wears off extremely fast. The toes are almost white after a dozen uses.

Maybe not for deer huntingI like the boots except for the smell. I have been wearing them almost a month and the smell is still bad. I'm starting to notice that deer are avoiding areas that I walk to stands. So, they are a good boot, but maybe not for deer hunting.
