Defeats the purpose of a tactical boot. The excessive creaking noise is from the insoles. Definitely not a quality Danner product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike1218 from Amazing duty boot I've been looking for a waterproof, lightweight duty boot for some time now to wear with my uniform. I should have gone to Cabela's in the beginning because they've never let me down. I drive a bus OTR and this Danner boot is everything I was looking for. They are lightweight and oh so comfortable. I wear size 10D and the fit is spot on. One thing that stands out with these is the size of the toe box. It's slightly larger than what you'd find on a regular boot so your toes have more room and are never pinched. That makes these the best work boots I've ever owned. If you're looking for a dressy, rugged, well made duty boot that is all day comfortable, then look no further.
