The Daniel Defense® Delta 5 integrates the modularity of the AR platform with a solid bolt-action rifle to provide the ultimate in long-range precision shooting. The Delta 5 features a user-interchangeable, cold hammer-forged barrel. The muzzle is threaded (5/8"-24) for attaching suppressors, and comes with a thread-protector cap. The stainless steel receiver features an integral recoil lug, and is mechanically bedded into the carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer stock. A custom, 20-MOA Picatinny scope base affords maximum elevation allowance for shooting over 500 yards; and the base is attached to the receiver with 4 bolts for reliable stability. The 3-lug bolt utilizes a floating bolt head, and a short, 60° bolt lift provides a wide margin of space between your hand and the scope. An oversized bolt knob offers plenty of hand engagement, and is removable and replaceable. An adjustable, single-stage Timney® Elite Hunter™ trigger (1.5 - 4 lbs.) enables shooters to obtain the rifle's maximum accuracy potential. The polymer stock offers modularity with 14 M-LOK™ slots along the forend and 1 on the bottom of the buttstock. The buttstock adjusts for length-of-pull, butt pad height, and comb height, yaw and drift. The pistol grip angle is nearly vertical to accommodate shooting from prone. 3 M-LOK QD sling points allow quick and easy sling attachment. Rifle uses AICS-pattern, detachable magazines (includes one 5-round PMAG®). All Daniel Defense DELTA 5 bolt-action rifles are guaranteed to shoot .75 MOA or less at 100 yards when used with quality factory match-grade ammunition.
