Great reelI bought this reel a few months ago for a rig I was setting up
Due to a shipping mistake I ended up with two , Cabelas was great about working out the details of the error and I ended up just keeping the second one , Glad I did !!!
This reel is smooth and looks cool too , the paint scheme is really done well , I have been pulling up 2 - 5 pounders all fall with this reel ...
Its smooth , light , drag is strong ! For the money , I doubt you could do better ...
If you don't know , keep the nylon washers that are in the box - they are shims for the spool I needed two on one reel and zero on the other , since there isn't any instructions or explanation in the box just a exploded diagram on the box... They raise the spool if it isn't spooling even ...
Most of you will know this but some may not have a clue ...

Great bang for your buckThese reels are a great value. I own several and would buy more. Only thing I’d change is the material they use on the lip of the spool on all the reels except the 1000. It’s be a smoother cast w new material.

outstanding performanceThis is a great spinning reel from Daiwa! I use it for Shakey head presentations or search baits on a med or med/hvy rod. Incredibly smooth casting, bale movement and retrieve. Have nothing but great things to say about it

SmoothVery smooth - both casting and retrieval is very smooth. Anti-reverse if instant, with no slack. Hopefully will be durable, however, have not fished more than a couple times, so it will take awhile before will know about durability.

Excellent LT Reel!!I purchased for my drop shot shot and wacky setup. great drag and free spools pretty excellently!! I have 10lb 9-braid to 6-8lb flouro-leader.. I will be getting a couple more.

As good as my $100 reel!Very pleased with the reel for the price. Paired this with a Berkley 7’ 1pc rod, BSLR702M, and I’m loving it. Has me rethinking my $200 spinning combo I bought a few months earlier. It’s lightweight and very smooth. Depending on the longevity, I can see my buying more of these.

Under Rated!The color is amazing but that is not the only thing that matches up to this reel. The size is compact and 10 ball bearings, reel so smooth. Might have to buy one for my dad! Definitely best bang for your buck!
Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. This reel is intended for freshwater use, however if used in saltwater you will have to give the reel a thorough rinsing to wash the salt off before storing.
