Win winWow amazing reel for the price. I set this up with a offshore 8'3" Phoenix rod. On a fly i got it going down there after hearing great things about it. I had the advantage over many other people on the boat because it slings just like my bass baitcasters. The level wind is wonderful when it comes to reeling back alot of string. We tore the yellowfin up & i landed this Bluefin as well. After a 1&1/2 hour battle, got spooled down to seeing color of the spool 3 times. The olny thing about using this reel on larger fish is spool size. I will be keeping this set up for the 25pd. Yellowfin & upgrading the the Lexa 400 HD model for bigger fish.
Awesome reel folks.

Excellent Inshore ReelGood reel to horse calicos out of the kelp, fast enuf to throw surface jigs for yellowtail. Holds more line than my Tatula. Very smooth cast and retrieve. Love the single power handle!! I’m thinking about buying another!

A Great Reel!Just bought this in time for a trip in the Channel Islands targeting wh sea bass, yellowtail and bigger calico bass. (5 + lbs bass) I have a Tatula as a 15 lb set up, which I love, but needed to augment that w/a reel that holds more and heavier line. I am Very very pleased w the performance of this reel hoisting big bass out of the kelp. Very smooth cast & retrieve and I chose the one with the single power handle. I’ll be buying another one for sure.

It never worked rightI had been saving up for 2 years to buy this reel and when I finally pulled the trigger I took it out on a 3/4 day trip for yellow tail and tuna. I got for surface irons and I always ended up with a birds nest. Then when I would put it in free spool it would not go back into gear. Later in the day I hooked up on a yellowtail and no line would come in and I lost my jig and my fish. I took it into the shop and got it worked on and it was still not working so I traded it in for an avet and I have no backlashes and I have landed every fish. Don’t recommend the Lexa wn.

this reel is bigI bought the 400-WN. It is a great reel, but it is big! Spooled up Sufix 65# braid, caught big pike all day long, no issues.

The worst big low profile reel out there.Ok so I got a 300 and a 400 and both of them have spots where the button won't re-engage and the handle will spin forever. 2 different sizes, same problem. I went through about 8 of them (both sizes) in the store with the reel guy, all of them we watched do the same thing. I don't know how Daiwa failed at this part but they did. If you want a decent casting reel that you have to manually engage your button to begin your retrieve this reel is for you.
