CZ's 457 Scout Bolt-Action Rifle is a purpose-built field rifle designed for young shooters. The 12" length-of-pull and simple, adjustable leaf rear sight and bladed front sight keep things simple for those with a smaller stature. 11mm dovetails on the receiver make adding a scope of your choice simple. The Scout features a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle for use with a suppressor to combat the noise. All 457's utilize the same stock-attachment system, allowing the shooter to swap to a larger stock as they grow. This Scout ships with a single-shot adapter to help teach ammo conservation, though 457/455 magazines will fit the platform. CZ gives you a push-to-fire safety, something Hunter's Education instructors have long requested. The stamped bottom metal of the 455 is no longer a thing, as this 457 gets upgraded with a 2-piece interlocking system. 60º bolt rotation allows for target scopes to pair with the platform. CZ also upgraded the trigger with one that now features user adjustability.
