Awesome Lure Rarely get skunkedI don't remember where I got this lure, but was in my tackle box, So I gave it a try. the trout love it. They hit it hard. I had to go look for them and found them at BPS. Bought more. Very rarely do I get skunked using this lure.

Extremely surprisedWent fishing one day not getting a lot of bites so started going through lures in by box. I decided to try this one out All of a sudden the couldn't stop getting hits. I did catch a nice crappie on that day. most of the wipers in our area pretty small yet so it was hard for them to get the hook in their mouth. Today I caught a very nice 18+inch rainbow off this lure. there again hit after hit. I will be getting some more of these next time I'm in the Springs or Denver.

mad dadThe Mad Dad Minnow does not swim well. It would be much better if the eyelet was at the nose of the bait. When the bait is retrieved the minnow compresses against the top of the hook and causes it to not swim properly. The best way to use this bait is to remove the hook and eyelet and hook the minnow through the nose on a drop-shot set up. However, it is a little expensive to use in this manner. There are much better and cheaper drpo-shot-baits available.
That said, I would buy the bait again if the line tie was in the nose or on the top of the nose.

Great lureThis lure is absolutly great. Caught two three pounders first time using it. Awsome alternative to fishing a hard lipless crankbait. Alot more finnese then using a loud ratting version, and the tail wiggles perfectly, casts like a bullet cant beat this lure for the price.

Great baitI got the golden one. Caught a bass on first throw.. Then lost the bait a couple of days later. The hooks are super sharp. A good bait indeed.

Mad Dad MinnowThe bait itself is a good bait. The colors are perfect for all types of fishing and style in which the bait moves is great. The double hook design is pretty cool to, but it has its ups and downs. You don't snag or catch a lot of weeds, but setting the hook on fish especially bass is difficult. I have probably fished this bait for atleast twenty days, and so far I haven't hooked a fish and bites are scarce, getting only about 10-15 in that time period. It's a cool cheap little bait, but you should put the money towards something more effective.
How many are in a package? and how do you fish this bait
