Nothing but problemsFirst time I used it within a an hour I noticed the line was fraying. Got home and stripped line and put on fresh. Went out today and after the fifth cast the line was completely frayed and when I lifted the lure out of the water the line snapped. Called bass pro and they said I could send it back and receive credit but the postage would have cost me more then the line. Guess I'll stick with Stren or Trilene.

SUPER LINEsing this line for a couple years and love it . i might prefer 12# but i do well with 10#. like price also

Ok line for the moneyThis line is on the low end for sure. It comes with line twist and it is stiff. I will be switching to Stren Crappie Mono soon. All good on the reviews. Many people like it. BPS Crappie Maxx line may be good for catfishing in the 8# test range but that is it.

Junk fishing lineI tie a double clinch knot and a first pull test on the knot and broke and glad i did not spool this line on my reel

Stiff for light lineI bought the six pound test. It's what I usually use for crappies and yellow perch. Tried it out yesterday. Line diameter is thick for the pound test, it curls and even bows in the water, thought it would be good at detecting bites because of the visibility, but the stiffness kills it. Don't know what else it would be good for, I'll give it one more try but I believe it's going to end up in the trash and I'll go back to Trilene XL which I've never had a problem with. A shame, sometimes you get what you pay for and not much else.

Not my thingThis line is somewhat of a problem for me to rate. I have used the 8#, 6#, and 10# and all are well casting and abrasion resistant. Now my problem is when I bass fish with it I get less hits then with clear or a moss green line. Now when crappie fishing in stained water it is not a problem. I currently use the crappie max camo for crappie.

What the heckReceived the spool of line today, after opening it I realized there is three different tag ends, so I guess on one and start to spool, zip, not the right end, did it again and again and now I have a spool of line with no tag end, I can't find the end of the line anywhere, I have tried running my thumb each way to maybe loosen it so I can see it, tried compressed air, nothing. This spool is going to wind up in the garbage, I am going to make a cut hopefully on the line thats spooled on the top, fingers crossed

It’s tiff but the good part is it easy to untangle. It goes ont the spool in weird way which is why it’s a little tuff to cast.

I want a ice fishing line that does not coil when fishing. I want a line that stays straight.

You could but I have noticed that in clear water you will get less hits with the yellow line.
