Will be great for fall and winter layeringThis is a great jacket. I was not aware that the large is a 14/16 boys. Could use one size smaller but opting to keep for next year as well. Our 5 year old is on the tall side. He is 50" tall and weighs 52 pounds. This is about 2 inches longer in the arms and hits mid thigh. Like I said opting to keep to get more than one year out of. I bought the boys BPS canvas layered coat as well. This looks great under the khaki with gray accents! He loved it as well. I bought these to save on school jackets from looking like half plucked chickens! Nylon fall/winter jackets with farm/ trapping/hunting/fishing boys simply don't work!
For a 14 year old boy, regular built, do you suggest L?
