I read the reviews prior to purchasing it and I'm not sure why it scored so high?? #1 Flimsy lid and lock. When closing the lid, the (cheap) plastic locking mechanism does not line up with the hole on the other side of the stove, so you have to maneuver it in to close it. Once it's closed, it doesn't feel very secure. The lid is bendable and flimsy. #2 It ignites nice and easy, however, the output of gas/fuel is poorly controlled by the dials/knobs. I tried several times to fine tune to adjust to a "low" setting, and the dial would not stay put. It kept turning back to a "high" setting or it would turn off and I would have to re-ignite....I ended up burning my food and then burning through a can of fuel in 4 meals. (I have a 20 year+ Coleman model stove that cooks more efficiently than this one, and it's built for the outdoors with real metal and a nice locking clasp). #3 Poor design of stove top and the bottom scratches easily. The silver surface scratches with any movement of the stove top. The stove top can be easily bumped out of place from the holes while cooking causing scratches to the bottom surface. #4 Cannot cook 3 things at one time...there's not enough room on the "3" burner stove.

It produces a lot more heat than the Coleman 425 white gas stove we used for years. The only problem, and it was not much of one, was the controls do not allow you to turn a burner way down when you need milder heat for grilling sandwiches or simmering soups. With the central burner on by itself, we were able to get the lower heat we were looking for. I believe most of this is just the learning curve on a more powerful stove. The main burners can really produce some heat, so large pots of partially frozen soups should heat much more quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Conrad283 from Awesome stove I had a previous Coleman stove/grill which served its purpose, but wasn't great (it was the one that had a grill on the right and one burner on the left. Problem was with the grill was that it wouldn't cook burgers very well). So I decided to change my grill set up and I went for this one. I've camped the last 2 out of 3 weekends, and this stove, coupled with the specific made for griddle, is an amazing and versatile combination. Last night with my son's cub scout den, they cooked dinner for the pack and we were able to cook 4 boxes of mac and cheese and 5 cans of corn simultaneously. Everything worked great. Still haven't gone through a single canister of fuel yet and I've used it numerous times. The temperature control is really good as well. With the middle burner on, the griddle gets really hot really fast, almost too hot. When I was heating my premade breakfast burritos in the morning, I found that leaving the middle burner off created a spot in the middle of the griddle that was just right. The previous night for dinner, my charcoal grill got cold and I had to cook my BBQ chicken, zucchini, and bread on the griddle and everything came out fantastic. This will definitely be my stove for a long time to come

It is the perfect solution to the having enough space in between burners so that you can fit two skillets on the stove at the same time without having to go as big or heavy as a Camp Chef. I haven't cooked with the middle "griddle" burner yet but it does light easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2farout from Coleman just what you expect Great stove, plenty of easly controlled heat to the right burner. Better and able to use larger pans and pots. Much better than the two burner Coleman. Because it is bigger and has more burners it uses more fuel, but that's expected. Light weight, easy to carry with handle on case. Cleans nicely, does the job you want it to do. Side's keep the wind from blowing the heat from the flamme, aand keeps the back up. Assembly is easy, connecting the prophane bottle takes care as it could become cross threaded, I think. I first stove was a liquid gas sstove and I did not like fueling or refueling, and the presieved dander as i saw it. Changing gas bottles is quick and easy and safe. Safty is foremost to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by tunder from the only bad is the lid latch loved it, everything work well had enough room on it for my stovetop oven and a pot large enough to boil pasta at the same time. The only bad thing is the latch for the lid doesn't always work and it opens up when you pick it up by the handle.

I called Bass Pro for YOU. You cal alway call them for information....China. I have one and the quality is very good. I doubt youwill find any brand making a stove like this in the USA

how to get ignitor to work

New stove-used 3 times. Can only light with match. I have used 5 different batteries, all new, and the ignitor will not light stove. Any suggestions--I have followed the instructions exactly. I cannot hear clicking or any sound with the lighter.

Does adding a Bigger propane tank help output?

We are deciding between this one and a free standing double burner stove. We plan on running either one on a bigger propane tank with a tree. We tested this stove on a small can and there was little flame when 2 burners on...does a larger propane tank help this? Thanks!

No. Output PSI is preset at the factory. The regulators are factory sealed and shouldnt be fooled with. The more things using the pressure the greater it falls off.
