Jumbo PerchFirst time I used it and it worked great catching jumbo perch. I love how the spring bobber is incorporated into the rod. My buddy had a spring bobber attachment for a different rod and he wasn't doing so well. Great set up for this style of fishing.

Very smooth and sensitiveThis rod is great. It is very sensitive, light, has good backbone and the reel is very smooth.
I typically am not a fan of this style of spring bobber since the beaded head seems to bounce around after you stop jigging but because of the material this one seems to stop bobbing as soon as you do. I was able to detect bites that i definitely couldn't have on my tickle stick and that is an extremely sensitive rod.
Do yourself a favor and get one, or two like i did and you wont be disappointed.
