Suitable for older Caddis U-shaped float tubeI bought this replacement bladder for use in a 20+ year old Caddis U-shaped float tube. It looked enough like the original bladder, I thought it might work. It does, so my old tube lives on. The fit is not perfect, of course, but certainly close enough. The one downside: the replacement tube is distinctly heavier than the original.

Easy FixI have my Caddis float tube for 10 years now. I use it mostly for duck hunting, but fishing also. When it started leaking two years ago, I was going to buy a this replacement bladder, but tried an easy fix first. Remove the bladder, pop off the cap on the valve stem, and install Slime, or any other product, that will stop leaks in small tires. It has been two years now, and still no leaks.

Leaky ValveThe valve on the Caddis float tube bladders are poorly designed. I have had two tubes and one replacement bladder with leaky valves. There is no way to patch this so the tubes are useless. I will not buy another Caddis float tube until the valve has been redesigned. Caddis has lost my business.

DefectiveI had to purchase a new backrest bladder because the original was defective; the replacement had the same problem of a leaky valve. Caddis was unhelpful with the original problem and wouldn't even sell me a new valve.
What’s the inside diameter of the round bladder. My float tube used a 7.6x16 inner tube. I have another, with no back that may be a little smaller. The inner tube for it is gone so I don’t know what it’s tube sizing was. There are no model names or number

Will this fit the U shaped Lost Lake Float Tube?
I bought a few of the U shaped White River Flat Tubes, and after years of use and patching need to find some new bladders.
The only other bladders i can find on your site are to replace the round shaped float tube.

Before you buy a new bladder, try using Slime, or any other product, that will repair small wheel tires. I did this with my Caddis tube two years ago, and still no leaks!
