Great packBought this halfway through hunting season on sale. Excellent pack for the money on sale, about average at regular price. Fits excellent with no hot spots or rubbing. A bit more internal organization would be nice but would probably just add weight. The adjustable pocket system on the belt is very nice.

Great Day PackBought this pack in November, great sale price made the decision easy. Used it for two separate day hunting trips. It is very comfortable even when fully loaded with extra items. Held all necessary gear as well as a fair bit of unnecessary stuff just to test it out. Adjustability is great and the pack was barely noticeable during the hikes into and out of the woods. I’m 6’1” and 225 with a long torso and the pack fit perfectly but has plenty of adjustability to spare.
No chance to test durability after only 2 days but no snags at all. Very happy with pack. Will report more next season.

Enjoyed the pack until...Decent pack and enjoyed all the options. After a month and a half though, the bladder pocket ripped. For the price I expected better.

Good day pack for huntingEverything seems to be well thought out and its got plenty of room for what you need to carry during a day in the field. The pack is pretty streamlined and makes it easy to get around the woods with it on. I'm 5' 11" and the pack fits me very well, the straps easily tighten. Love the Octane O2 camo as well.

Could have been betterOver shoulder strap does not have adjustability for bag upper stability. I am 6' 2" tall and bag felt too small for my torso (20" long). Nice looking bag, quiet, soft, feels like suede. Good hiking bag.
How effective is the rain cover? I hunt and fish in Florida and I'm frequently in soaking wet conditions. I'm going to buy a bag like this, or, a "dry bag" back pack and I'm comparing pros and cons of each.

Thank you for your question. The rain cover on this pack covers the front and sides of the pack as well as some of the area against your back. It is not a complete water tight seal.
