Happy to be rid of itAfter 5 years or so using this pack, it was with great joy this week that I dropped it off at Goodwill. Just never worked for me. The design and materials make it seem more like a kids' toy than a serious fishing tool. The bottom-tray design looks great but is not practical: The boxes essentially serve as a structural part of the bag; when you take one or all out, it collapses into itself and falls over. So you wind up lugging around boxes that are empty just to keep the pack whole. The pockets all just seem "wrong" to me -- stuff falls out of the tool pockets on the sides far too easily, the back pockets are too slim to hold anything except a couple leader rolls and license. Also it is a virtual sponge in the rain; the material and zippers are not even marginally waterproof. Everytime I've had the pack out in the rain, every single thing in it has come home soaked. I guess for the price it's a fine fair-weather pack, but if you're a serious angler, look elsewhere.

Perfect size and hands free !I have had this backpack for 3 weeks now and have used it several times.Lots of room for tackle, small soft cooler, extra clothing, and more. The quality seems good so far. Nice and comfortable on my back. The best thing for me is that it frees up my hands if I need to carry extra gear down to the dock or help someone else. This will be pefect for small river fishing from my kayak, as well. And, it looks great too.

My First Fishing BackpackI just got this two weeks ago. I really enjoyed cleaning out my tackle box and organizing all my trout gear in the very well made and well laid out backpack. There is plenty of room for everything and the three configurable plastic trays work great and are easily accessed and are located at the bottom to help to keep the center of gravity nice and low.
I’m very happy with my purchase. If I have a complaint it would be that the waist strap is too short for my very big belly but that will be easy to fix.

Too smallHad to return this.It is supposed to buckle around the waist and the straps were in no way long enough to do so,ditto the chest strap. Not what I wanted in a "fishing" backpack

Good backpack for moneyPROS - This bag is great for all types of fishing. Plenty of storage. The trays are great that come with it. GREAT price Good size for anything from backpack hiking/Fishing to boating/fishing. Would recommend this bag to anyone who wants.
CONS - Wish it came with 4 trays instead of 3.

Great bagLove the bag, plenty of room for a day trip and a small lunch or just pack it with tackle. Seems on shoulders look weak but I've worn it about 50 times for hours at a time and no problems there. Side pocket for rod holder is kind of bew to me but handy when walking distances. The internal frame is soft enough to contour but sturdy enough for the weight. All around very pleased with the bag, hip belts and chest strap definitely help with the additional weight. I'm 6 ft and 240 lbs and it fits me great. Adjustable straps are standard. Kind of loose sometimes but not a big deal!

Great backpack for fishingHaven't used it yet but the quality is good. Wanted a backpack so I can carry all my gear while fishing. I always fish from shore. Bag is a medium size and I can cast with no problems.
The back padding is excellent, has a big air flow channel. More comfortable then my work laptop bag. the waist strap is great. The pockets on waist strap hold pliers, fish gripper and no problems for me opening the pockets.
The mesh pocket on right side is kind of useless. everything falls out when you open that zipper. it has four clips on the front and I don't know what these do. is there another bag that can attach here?
Fast free shipping.
There are some things I wish it had. a dedicated insulated water bottle holder. more pockets on the waist strap. Rubber feet on the bottom to keep it off the dirt and mud.

Great bag but the utility boxes are junkI received this bag for Christmas from my wife and have now been using extensively for about 6 months. Overall it is terrific and would be rated 5 stars if not for one thing. The good things: I am able to lug around a lot more tackle than I probably should - and I would not have it any other way! The belt has some pockets on it that allow you to keep some easy access things in there and there are enough pockets and compartments to easily store everything from thermometers, a scale and other tools to lots of soft plastics and tackle.
But then we have the 3 absolutely garbage plastic storage containers. At first glance they seem great and customizable albeit a little on the cheap side. But after wearing this pack through the woods a handful of times and crashing a few times I have found the dividers not to hold stuff in place, especially hooks. Overall the dividers do not lock in place, come out too easily and the outside latches don't seal very tight. They are not a great complement to the bag. Currently I am going to look for some other containers to replace these.
