Bulldog Digital Pistol Vault Drawer Safe
The Bulldog® Digital Pistol Vault safely stores one handgun where it's out of reach of unwanted access and robbery. This handgun safe opens from top as drawer safe by entering a 3–8 digital code on the 12-digit key pad. The code is easily changed with a reset button. A secure hidden key override serves for backup. A tamper alarm provides an extra measure of security. The Bulldog Digital Pistol Vault is constructed of steel with a powder coated matte finish; and closes with 2-3/4" steel locking bolts on the door. A protective floor mat guards your handgun from dings and scratches. The handgun safe runs on 4 AA batteries (not included) and a battery-power indicator warns you before batteries lose power. The safe is pre-drilled on the bottom and back for mounting, and comes with mounting hardware. Dimensions: 12"x8"x7". Manufacturer model #: BD1030.

Hi, per the manufacturer, the Digital Pistol Vault Drawer Safe BD1030 don’t have a whole lot in the way of securing the vault. But the hardware that comes with the vault is designed for concrete. So if you are wanting to mount to wood surface or drywall, they suggest you go to local hardware store to see what they recommend. here are basic instructions with photos below on how the concrete hardware attaches.
Mounting Your Magnum Vault to Floor or Wall: The vault that you have purchased is designed to be permanently mounted to something sturdy (i.e. shelf, wall, floor etc.) for proper safety and security. The vault is not designed to be a portable carrying case. If the vault is dropped it could possibly cause the mechanism to be damaged or trigger, causing the safe to open. The vault comes with pre drilled holes and mounting hardware. It is recommended that the vault be secured with screws or bolts from the inside to prevent removal.

Thank you for your question. Per the manufacturer, the Bulldog Digital Pistol Vault Drawer Safe has a key hole to the left of the key pad, under a small cover. The key number is engraved on the key hole. If a replacement key is needed, please contact the manufacturer.
