Excellent PantI was looking for a wind and rain resistant pant for all seasons. On the clearance rack I found these and couldn't turn them down due to the price. So the test, early Nov in Alberta, around 0 to neg 3 celsius's in light rain, mist and ice pellets. Winds 20 Km gusting 35 km deer hunting in the prairies, these pants held their own. With one base layer on, I was surprised that the rain did not penetrate. The wind wasn't a factor other than making it hard to walk. My exposure was around 3 hours and I was warm and dry. I believe that I pushed these pants to their limit, if the rain had picked up I would be using my true rain gear. The fabric is stretchy and mobility was great. Sitting on wet grasses on a hill side glassing yes my backside got damp but dried quickly once I was moving again. Great buy! Surprisingly!
