The Browning® A5® Wicked Wing Semi-Auto Shotgun may resemble your grandpa's "humpback" Auto-5, but inside Browning has made dramatic innovations making the A5 a fast-cycling, versatile, recoil-operated, modern shotgun. The A5 still has the functional receiver profile the old humpback Auto-5 was famous for, that extends the length of your sight plane, though now the receiver is built from rugged, lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, making the overall weight of the shotgun lighter than the old Auto-5. Browning designed the A5 Wicked Wing specifically with the waterfowl hunter in mind, with Mossy Oak® Shadow Grass Blades® camo on the buttstock and forend, and a burnt bronze Cerakote®-finished barrel and receiver. Nickel Teflon® coating on the bolt, bolt slide, shell carrier, bolt release button and cocking handle increase corrosion protection, lubricity, and cleaning efficiency. Dura-Touch® coating and oversize bolt release improves your grip in extreme weather. The ergonomic bolt latch locks the bolt to the rear with an unloaded magazine and releases a shell from the magazine when the bolt is closed for faster loading. Patented TurnKey Magazine Plug allows easy removal in seconds using a standard door or car key. A vent rib and fiber-optic front sight, allows you to take full advantage of the A5's long sight plane with positive swing and follow-through. Ergo Balanced design features a trim forearm placing your hand closer to the bore line for improved aiming and accuracy. The Browning Kinematic Drive System cycles the A5 semi-auto shotgun flawlessly, converting recoil energy into mechanical motion. The Inflex® II recoil pad allows faster, more accurate follow-up shots with reduced felt recoil. VectorPro lengthened forcing cones enhance shot-pattern performance. Included Invector-DS (Double Seal) interchangeable choke tubes have threads at the muzzle end and a brass seal at the other end that seal out dirt and fouling gases, keeping the threads surprisingly clean. Use the included 1/4" and 1/2" stock spacer for length of pull adjustment. Tune the drop and cast using the included stock shim kit.
