Q&A
Designed for targeting northern pike and muskies, the BOOYAH® Pikee⢠Spinnerbait offers all the durability that these fish require with an ultra-tough Vibra-FLX .45 wire that can stand-up to a mouthful of sharp teeth. On top of being ultra-tough, Pikee Spinnerbaits feature an 84-strand Silo-Tek skirt which serves up a tremendous amount of undulating action as it moves through the water column. The Vibra-FLX wire and Silo-Tek skirt combine with the Pikee's jeweler's grade plated double willow blades to create loads of strike-provoking vibration and clattering commotion. Each Pikee comes with a 12'' steel leader, so the Pikee is ready to fight right from the package. Weight: 1/2 oz.

A hitterBought it for Pike but gave it a shot at a local pond and I literally lost track on how many bass I caught after about 14. That was in Perch color, the water had a brownish tint to it and it was very sunny out about 82 degrees. It works great with the leader but occasionally gets tangled in itself when casting. No where near as much as the Strike kings to. I'm sticking with these from now on.

So soWhen retrieving this spinnerbait, I didn't like the way it swam in the water. Head and skirt was to far forward, didn't try it very long, braided line broke on a cast and lost it.

love my BooyahMy new Booyah Pike spinnerbaits are adding to the collection. Love these spinners. I have caught pike, bass and even walleye with them. My favorite color is white with willow blades. My husband borrows mine so have to get extras now. Can't wait to go north. Thanks Bass Pro for making it easy to order.

spinnerbaitThe Booyah spinnerbait is my choice for Musky fishing in Canada. I prefer the style with the closed loop rather than the open hook for attaching to my line. The closed eye prevents slippage of the clasp up to the blades and maintains better contact with the fish. My best Musky this year was 42 inches @ 21lbs.

SpinnerIt has good weight, not too good for heavily weeded areas, but works very well in open water. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Pikee SpinnerbaitWhat a great bait. I've used these spinnerbaits for anything from Walleye to Largemouth Bass. Produces sledgehammer strikes!! Tough enough to hold up to the longest fight with a big Northern or to drag a lunker out of a brushpile!!!
I'm looking to get a killer pike spinnerbait, and I was wondering what colour i should get this in?

I have used several colors but I catch the most pike on white spinners with willow blades. next would be perch colors. Even our guide was impressed.

what color do you use on the pikee?
Asked by: dugie
Each fishing location will be different; even each trip to the same area might have different results so there isn’t really a “Best” color to use when fishing. One color may work better one time but not as well the next time you fish. So, when selecting a lure color take a look at your surrounds (landscape and wildlife) to determine the color of lure to use. If the water is dark and murky (or stained) use bright and/or fluorescent colors that can draw the fish’s attention to the lure. If the water is clear, look around if the area and use colors which blend with the surrounds. If the area is rocky use a brown, tan, or a similar color. If there is grass and weeds then use more of the green colors. Each location will be different so try a good range of colors. Thank you for your question.
