These two-piece, IM6 B'n'M The Difference Crappie Spinning Rods were designed by expert crappie angler Roger Gant, for a technique called "side-pulling", where the trolling motor is attached to the side of the boat—the sideways motion lets anglers fish more rods. Also great for spider rigging or tight lining! Features include premium Portuguese natural cork handles, ceramic inserts, and ultra-sensitive tips that detect the lightest bites.

Best crappie rod yet!No regrets with this rod.!! I purchased 4 of these rods to tight line off the bow of a new boat. They have performed to greater than expectation. So pleased with them, I plan to purchase 4 more for tight lining off the stern. They are super sensitive and equally tough.

Excellent Bluegill RodI got back into fishing after a 10 yr. break and started out with my Bass Pro Micro Lite's & Extreme's but wanted to try something a little different so I picked up "The Difference" in 8'. I primarily fish small "ice fishing" jigs under Thill floats and even with the smaller BB floats I am able to make long casts. With the larger BB TG Wagglers, Bodied Wagglers & Stealths my casting distances are out there. Sensitivity is excellent and the rod has enough backbone to hoist 10" bluegills over downed logs & brush near shore when bank fishing. I have been so impressed with this rod that I'm picking up one each for my son & son-in-law so they can experience "The Difference."

Great piece of equipment!!I have owned one of these rods for about 18 months, and it has been everything I hoped it would be. I prefer to fish light jigs in the 1/32 and 1/16 range, and the light tip of this rod is perfect for that. Pitching to brush, or vertical in timber, it has been great!!!!

Difference RodI know this rod was designed for crappie fishing, but I use it for trolling for walleyes. I normally hold it in my hand while trolling crankbaits. I am not kidding when I say it is the best rod I have ever used for this. Great for feeling the vibration of the crank bait and knowing when it bouncing off bottom. Also allows the walleye to take bait in with the action of the rod. THUMBS UP!!!

PerfectI really like this rod. I fish for crappie on KY lake and like to cast and jig for crappie the eight foot version of this rod allows me to do both. The rod has a light tip yet when you load it up to heave a slab over the side of the boat you'll find it is plenty stout enough. I paired it with an underspin reel and I can cast with it all day and not wear my arm out. The soft cork handles are also a nice touch.
