Extremely effective and versatile, the Blue Fox® Strobe® Tear Drop Spoon is great for casting and trolling. This classic tear drop shaped spoon made from heavy, stamped brass is outfitted with extremely sharp Rapala® VMC hooks and produces an excellent wide, wobbling action that elicits emphatic strikes from a multitude of freshwater gamefish.

Perfect action for trout.We used these for Cutthroat Trout at Yellowstone Lake and were catching 15" to 22" Cutts on every 10 to 15 casts. We fished from shore when it was breezy and "surf" was about 1-2 foot rolling in. They cast well into the breeze and had good action at any retrieve speed.

My go to spoonI always have multiple 5/8th perch pattern strobe spoons in my tackle boxes. Work best in spring and early summer when perch are typically being preyed upon by larger speices. The perch patern also works well in bodies of water that dont even have perch.

Big Pike MagnetOn northern Canadian lakes this spoon in 1 oz size is the 'cloudy day pike magnet!' Trolled these out 75-100ft at 3-4 mph in 10-15ft of water in late July & August; 15-20 24+inch pike/hour, biggest 36"

Great Spoon!Great spoon! has a good action in the water. Nice glossy finish seems resistant. Catches fish. Price is very very good - I'd recommend picking up a few.

Worth it!First cast first pike of the year, so no complaints! Will see how she holds up through the year but at this point it is doing very well!

Hammered NickelPike and Bass just love the blue flash in the water. Prob every other cast I'd be reeling one in.
3/8 oz works the best
Hammered Bass & Red White do well too, but the Hammered Nickel is always a guaranteed winner!

good spoonI bought a hammered brass 5/8oz. it looks good but it would be excellent with more bright.
I don't know why BPS not put the full specifications of any articles.... this spoon is almost 3'' (5/8oz).
