Q&A
Easy to fletch, the unique shape of the Blackout Predator II 2'' Predator Vanes dramatically enhances broadhead flight for any bowhunter. The blade is finely tapered from base to top, resulting in a smaller, lighter vane with unbelievable steering power. There's virtually no flap and no unwanted noise. Suction-fit base for a tight, sure bond to any size shaft; primer-less finish for unlimited shelf life. 50 pack.

excellent purchase Blackout Predator ii vanes.I had bought some Carbon Express arrows with Predator vanes and loved the way they shot. I purchased these vanes to replace damaged vanes. I just fletched a friends indoor target arrows with these vanes. He really likes them. I've repaired a number of arrows with damaged vanes using the Predator vanes. I've never had an issue with them. Arrows always shoot straight.

Quality Vanes at a great price!I refletched Easton Flatline and Gold Tip Expedition arrows. Both shot as well as my arrows with the new factory vanes.
Yes, you can fletch all of their vanes in a right helical formation. Predominantly their vanes work in all jigs but have heard that in one particular response that the Bohning Blazer jig had some problems fletching their vane in this style. All of this information came from the manufacturer.

how do you decide on 2"or 3" vains for a crossbow
Asked by: 00buck
Longer fletching gives you more surface area, which produces better arrow stability during flight. The tradeoff here is reduced speed. However, stability (which translates into accuracy) tends to be of much greater importance at typical bowhunting ranges. 4" vanes are the most common, so if you're just starting out, that's a great place to start. The shorter, wider 2" Blazer vanes (and similar styles) have also become popular and are another good option to investigate.
The final consideration in arriving at your ideal fletching is the amount of helical or "turn" the fletching has.
The size you choose is a matter of personal preference. We suggest using the closest size to what you are currently using if you are switching from another brand.
Thank you!

are vanes sold in threes
So im wondering if its a total of 50 single vanes so this pack would make around 16 arrows correct?
Asked by: Nickoko
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, one 50 pack of these vanes would be enough for 16 arrows and then there would still be some left over.
