Solid releaseIt isn't a Carter, but you aren't paying for one either. I've put 500 or so shots through my release using both 3 and 4 finger styles. Built well and easily adjustable. The pin that was falling out for some gave me no issues after I tightened the set screw designed to keep the finger adapter in place. The only knock i have against the release was the factory packaging did not include the 4 finger attachment. One call to Tru Fire and the adapter was in my mailbox 3 days later. Awesome release

Nice release for the priceHad it for a month .no problems with it at all. The release is very well made ,accurate, and adjustable . No problems with the pin coming out of it. Little loader than my carter but nothing major.

Not an idea releaseThe release seems very durable and constructed well but releasing an arrow sounds about like a gun shot now. The release is unbelievably loud!!! The thumb activation is also very hard to activate compared to any other release I have tried. Different adjustments didn’t change anything and I will Be returning it and not buy that brand again!

Good release yet DisappointedI've shot about 75 arrows with this now. The jaw and thumb release seems to be durable. The thumb travel is easy to update. The biggest downfall is the pin that holds in the 4th optional finger. It appears to be a polished pin with no grooves and slides out very easily. Within 10 uses the finger attachment (without me adjusting anything on it out of the package) fell off the release while at full draw. Luckily i was able to find the pin in my yard. I then reattached, tried to find a way to secure the pin but with little to no luck I reluctantly tried again, same situation, this time i lost the pin in the grass. After chatting with tru-fire CS, they said i needed an RMA, and to use there automated form, unfortunately the UPC of this item is not accepted on there form. So i will be returning this to Cabelas.

Great price point releaseThis is my second thumb release and I was torn between sticking with my wrist release or making the jump to thumb until I tried this release. It’s easy to adjust tension. It feels good in the hand and not cheap like some of the other $50-100 releases I’ve tried. I spent an afternoon shooting with this and I feel just as confident with it as I did my wrist release. I would hunt with this release tomorrow. Keep in mind you’ll have to move your peep switching from a wrist to a thumb in most cases.
I have the same question as cjone176. How do you change to the 4 finger extension when there is no 4 finger attachment included in the package?

Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. If your bow release does not have the 4 finger attachment, Bass Pro Shops offers a "no hassle" return policy. If the item was purchased through the store, catalog, or online, you may return it to us at the catalog center or the store within 60 days of purchase.

How do you change it to the 4 finger configuration?
Asked by: cjone176
Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. There is a simple set screw that gets removed. The three finger piece is then removed and the four finger piece that comes with the release is inserted and set screw replaced.
