Good ActionWhen the surface tension of the water is still, the long legs of the Bett's Bream Madness create a dinner bell for all species of fish. I have caught Blue gills, Crappie, Bass, and even a Catfish on it.

Awesome fly...well, spiderI have a camp on a lake that has excellent bass fishing, and at certain times, also has excellent crappie fishing.
Two years ago, the crappie were biting, and it was before I got into fly fishing, and caught upwards of 15 of them on those BPS Squirmin' Squirt tubes.
Well, last year, we had a day when the crappie were biting, so I decided to try this spider on the fly rod. I ended up catching 10 crappie, 1 sunfish, and 1 yellow perch. Most of the crappie were 8"-12", and the largest was just over 14" long! They loved this little spider, and its the only fly that stayed on my line that day. For the price, I highly recommend getting a few!
I was using the black colored one. Didnt actually try it on trout waters....yet! But its certainly an excellent panfish fly.

bream getterI have been flyfishing for the better part of forty years and have fished for just about every fresh and salt water species of fish on the continent and am a flyfishing guide on the east coast. Over the years i've probably used about every fly imaginable from royal wolves to common old every day rubber spiders and have yet to run across any fly that could compete with these bream getters. They will catch any fresh water fish that swims from largemouths to crappie, white bass, stripers and even trout. They are hands down the best all around fresh water fly on the market and i order them by the case most times. All the colors work wonderfully the black ,green and brown and can be fished on droppers behind popping bugs or as single baits. They can be worked like a streamer on a fast strip or like a nymph on a slow drift and any way in between, I highly recommend them and would not be caught without them.
is it good for louisiana bream and small pond bass

How do you work it?
I am new to fly fishing and I bought this fly for fishing in golf course ponds that I know are loaded with largemouth bass, bluegill, and catfish but I have never tried it. I bought it for catching bluegill and bass but I don't understand how to work it. How do you work this fly and does it float well?
Asked by: SnookKing98
You just cast it near where the fish are and slowly retrieve it jiggling it slightly to make the legs work and wait for the strike. You should get a strike EVERY cast!
