Berkley PowerBait Rib Toad
Bass have never encountered a frog with this much appeal! They'll find it hard to pass up a Berkley® PowerBait® Rib Toad, not only because of its innovative high-action design, but also because it's packed with irresistible PowerBait scent and flavor. Deeply ribbed legs and big, thumpin' feet displace a ton of water as it kicks along, and the proven flavor keeps fish holding on up to 18 times longer. The sleek angular body slips easily through thick vegetation.

Not a top water baitFished the other day and topwater was great the first hour using a chartreuse topwater frog. When the top water bait died the other day I pulled these guys out. The pond I was fishing is about 4 feet deep and FULL of hydrilla. There is one section though where it thins out a little and here this bait was deadly. Just drag over the stuff on top and let it fall in the pockets and a few twitches later - fish on! Rigged with a 4/0 hook with the tip running along the top of the bait it fished fairly weedless with few missed fish.

Best toad bait ever made!Super durable; great price for six baits and the action on a slow retrieve is 2nd to none. I always used the Zoom Toads; but not anymore. There’s a new toad in town and this is it. Great color selection as well. I use these with a gammy 5/0 superline ewg hook. These are just AWESOME!!

Hard to find hooks that makes this thing work.I agree with the others the legs suck, finding a hook that works with this thing is a issue. Top waters with any of there baits are nil. Three areas Berkley lacks are top waters, jigs swimming and bottom bouncing; and spinner baits and buzz baits.

What is this supposed to be?VERY distressed that Berkeley doesn’t have ANY top water baits. Fished these in the Berkley Big Bass Open at Lake Fork today and realized that these are useless as top water frogs. No leg action at all on retrieve slow or fast. Seville makes a real frog but has a terrible single hook on it. Come on man, really? Berkley needs to expand its line to include top water lures as well as action metallic baits like spinner baits/buzz baits.

Pad master from
Rib toadThe body of the frog has a great design and the weight allows me to make extremely long cast but the legs makes make little to no disturbance on top of the water
