Berkley Mobile Line Spooler
No one around? You can still fill your reel properly with the Berkley® Mobile Line Spooler. This simple, affordable system uses whatever's available (a table leg, a door, etc.) to provide the resistance needed to generate the correct tension as you re-spool. Its lightweight frame holds either a filler spool or a 1/4-lb. spool, and the adjustable tension band applies just the right tension to the line to reduce twisting and ensure even line lay as you reel. Use anywhere; great for packing along on your fishing trips.

Good productI've used this line spooler to fill two reels with Fireline Ultra 8 from a 300 yard spool. The tension strap worked well and kept a good uniform tension on the line throughout the process. As a geezer, it makes filling my reel so much easier than using a pencil through the spool and running the line through a phone book for tension. I'm glad I didn't read the other reviews before I bought it. Oh, and it's inexpensive too!

Nice idea but needs design improvemtLoved the idea of this spooler but once I attempted to spool a thin Spiderwire spool I realized the prongs that hold the spool touched not allowing any tension. I added another spool to prevent the two prongs from touching. If I was designing this products I would have tested it with various size spools and would have made the prongs less pointy and made them out of rubber material.

GarbageWill not hold tension on regular spools 150yd to 250 yds spools. May be usable on high yardage spools but definately not a mobile spooler....

Works well... Just not for small spoolsWorks really well for any large spools but upon trying to use some spiderwire braid that was a 125yrd spool it didn't work at all. Overall it's not bad for the price if you use larger spools of line.

Almost a good designDoesn't work with any small spools of line. Spool is so loose it just dangles there on a angle. Doesn't work with any of the line I use 150yard Powerpro spool, 200 yard Seagar, 300 yard P-Line. I'm Sure it work with a 1000yard spool but that's not how I buy my Line. Got returned right away.
