The Beretta® 96A1 Semi-Auto Pistol utilizes one of the most extensively tested and duty-proven designs in existence. The 96A1 uses the same basic design as the standard M9 Beretta, with added features that were developed for the U.S. Marine 92A1, and it shoots the powerful .40 S&W cartridge instead of the 9mm.
