Almost uselessSeems to be put together well and the features are nice for a beginning bow. However the bow barely shoots an arrow. It is nothing like the red fiberglass bows I had as a kid and that last for years. I agree with the other reviewer that the target better be within five yards. I'm scared my son will get discouraged. I would not recommend the bow.

Horrible, don't waste your money.I bought this for my 5 year old. I already had the Bear Scout and thought I would be upgrading with the Flash, just price point and features alone I assumed I was getting a better bow. I was horribly mistaken, the Flash is a horrible bow and barely penetrates a bale of hay at 10 yards. If you want an introductory bow, buy the Scout. My 5 year old can shoot groups at 10 yards with 365 grain arrows into a Black Block. The downside is the arrow rest very weak. Bear needs to combine the riser of the Flash and cam system of the scout and maintain the weight for a great youth bow.

Good for first bowGood bow for target shooting five yards and no more. My son has shot bows at scout camp and was disappointed this bow doesn't shoot farther when aiming at a target.

Regret PurchaseBought this bow for my 7 and 10 year old grandsons.
Pros: Well made. Love the ambidextrous Whisker Biscuit and arm guard.
Cons: No instruction manual came with the bow. Looked for owners manual on-line, but could not find. NO POWER. Was very disappointed in the power of this bow the first time we used it. I thought I could adjust the draw weight, but found it was set at maximum draw out of the box. Very disappointing because not enough power even for the younger 7 year old.
I would not recommend this to others, and I suspect I will not purchase this brand again.

Great starter bowAny kid big enough to hold this bow can draw and shoot this bow. I would recommend a foam target though.
