bead diamond jig reviewA great fishing lure that needs an option for purchase.
On the Northwest coast, the most common ocean fishing activity is done in water that is forty fathoms or less in depth. It's the law. Heavy structure, and snags abound here. Treble hooks on lures make them impossible to use, and are avoided by charter boats, and sport fishermen due to the high (guaranteed) loss. Slip over double or single hooks are a necessity here. The losses are so staggering, most charter companies mould their own diamond jigs due to cost. A different hook selection or option is sorely needed, as this is such an OUTSTANDING lure. Heavy weight is needed due to wind and current activity, and these lures provide that need. Welded split rings are totally avoided when armed with treble hooks.

Tuna love itBrought 3 of these on my tuna trip. After it got dark I started casting the 6oz glow at the rigs and wam! Yellowfin Tuna peeling off. After 4 tuna I had to change jigs because the paint was gone. So the 3 jigs lasted about 2 hours. I will be bringing more on my next trip.

Excellent lureI am impressed with these diamond jigs. I have caught multiple lemon fish and a 95 pound lemon fish the day before Isaac. Keep up the great work making these lures.

Works for The Race and The GutIf you know these spots in Long Island Sound, then you know you need the 16 oz size! I like that these come with the single hook rather than a treble hook. It makes hook removal so much easier for big bluefish. The nickel color is time proven, now to try the glow. I hope the finish can hold up to serious teeth on the blues.

Real Hefty Diamond JigI purchased 1 of these 6 oz.jigs at the ridiculously low sale price to use for fresh water Lake Trout fishing. I haven't caught any thing with it yet but it sure jigs well in 60+ feet of water. Good buy which with time will eventually catch some fish.

Are the rings split?

Yes, the ring between the jig's "eye" and the hook is a split ring... unfortunately the metal quality of the rest of the lure leaves a lot to be desired.
