SURPRISE!So after my scorching review on the hyper braid, thought I'd give credit where credit is due... I fish a large VERY pressured reservoir, mostly at night (due to pressure) I've been a die hard pop R fan for years... I picked up a couple of these xts poppers when I couldn't find the right colored pop R. I've been crushing the bass on these like no ones business... Fished one side by side with a pop R the other night. Hooks aren't as good, little less casting distance, BUT... better more suttle action and I'll call it what it is... I got way more and better strikes... Little mini money tourney two nights ago... I put 7 out of 8 of our fish in the boat with this bait. Mixed bag of large and smallmouth.. Two other boats got skunked, the fourth boat had one 3lber... Won a couple bucks and bragging rights on my new go to plug!

AMAZINGTHE XTS WORKS LIKE NO OTHER POPPER. IT WORKS THE BEST FOR ME PITCHING IT UNDER OVER HANGING TREES ON HOT DAYS. OR WHEN THE WATER HAS A BIT OF CHOP ON TOP. OR CALM DAYS LONG CAST OVER SUBMERGED WEEDS IN 15 TO 20 FEET OF WATER.

Great BuyThis is a great lure for the price. The finish is sharp, with good detail. The lure is as good as many of the higher priced poppers out there. I also like the split ring on the front. I have about a dozen in my boat. Try one, you'll get more.

I love this little lureIt's exactly the kind of topwater lure I like to work along the edges of the marsh. Easy to gurgle and pop with a motion that is downright fun to fish. It's a small lure with small treble hooks that complements the larger MR 17s and spooks that I also use frequently.

Great, Cheap Lure I would buy it again!The XTS speed popper by BPS is yet another great product created by the experts at Bass Pro. This popper looks amazing out of the packages and does exactly what it is supposed to. I would recommend a color with a white bottom, because that is the only part the fish will see attacking it from below. Great lure for a great price, it can't be beat!

cheap hookshooked a nice bass, good fighter, but the the hooks straightened on the the rear set and lost the fish. replaced the treble hooks with some eagle claws, no more problems.

Good LureSharp hooks, good action. Does exactly what it should. Sometimes catches the front treble on the line when casting (might be the angler and not the lure).
