Got two bad onesI tried these out recently. I bought two and had issues with both.
The joint failed on one, and the the other will not run true. I tried tuning it many times but it just fails. The hooks are a little small too.
I'm sure some work fine, but the quality seems to be hit or miss. Seems like some lures work according to the other reviews, but I'm giving up on trying them again.

Awesome crankbaitI have pounded the Bow River this year with this crankbait and have put it through many days of torture. It has resulted in countless rainbows and Browns into the boat many over 20 inches. This bait is easy to cast 80+ feet on 8lb test mono. The crankbait dives exactly 3 feet with every rod tip jerk, perfect for the Bow without snagging bottom. It is not for the deep pools deeper than 5 feet, but works amazingly well for 80% of the river that is 2-5 feet in depth. Best to have 3 rods ready to go, each with a different depth diving crankbait depending on the depth of the water and fishing style.

not impressedI have used jointed rapalas and rebel minnows for years with great results so of course this was a sure buy at half the price. About 3 cast over some submerged rocks and I had a fish on, a largemouth about 11 inches so not bad.
I recast and noticed that the lure was not swimming anymore but instead stayed in an L shape. I reeled back in to discover that the two metal swivels that allow the joint to move had pulled out slightly and damaged the body of the lure.
Not a purchase I will make again. I may be the worlds biggest cheapskate always looking for a bargain but if a lure wont survive an encounter with a less than legal largemouth than its not for me.

Great LureI bought this lure online seeing the great price. As soon as I received this lure in the mail I went to the lake and tried it out. I caught a nice largemouth bass after the first couple casts. Unfortunately i hooked another and it snapped my line. I will definitely be purchasing more.
Thank you for your inquiry. The maximum diving depth of this lure is 3 ft.

Asked by: RGFI
Hi, jointed lures sometimes deliver more action and better results than one-piece hardbaits.

What are the best colors?
Asked by: fishinprobro
There isn’t really a “Best” color to use when fishing. One color may work better one time but not as well the next time you fish. So, when selecting a lure color take a look at your surrounds (landscape and wildlife) to determine the color of lure to use. If the water is dark and murky (or stained) use bright and/or fluorescent colors that can draw the fish’s attention to the lure. If the water is clear, look around if the area and use colors which blend with the surrounds. If the area is rocky use a brown, tan, or a similar color. If there is grass and weeds then use more of the green colors. Each location will be different so try a good range of colors. Thank you for your question.
